Introduction

The H20-220 Compact Liquid Cooling Kit is an extreme performance version of the H20-120 Compact single radiator kit. It includes a dual 120mm radiator as well as our "Radbox" radiator housing for universal installation and added performance.

This kit offers true enthusiast-level performance combined with superlative ease of installation compared to traditional extreme performance kits, and it does so at a price/performance point unmatched by any kit on the market.

Features & benefits

Extreme Cooling Power and Quiet Operations
  • The Dual 120mm radiator provides maximum cooling headroom and affords both "low temps and low noise!"
  • High head pressure pump: the water-block built-in high head pressure pump can accommodate multiple additional water-blocks in the loop without compromising the system cooling performance.
  • Quiet pump
  • 12 to 7 and 12 to 5 volt fan adapters are included (29 or 22 dBA) for low/ultra low noise operations.
Simplified installation
  • No case modifications thanks to the include "Radbox"
  • Only three components to install: the Radbox, the radiator, and the water-block
High Reliability and Low Maintenance
  • 50,000 hours MTBF pump.
  • Low porosity laboratory grade Norprene® tubing.
  • Sleeved tubing with anti-kinking Smartcoils.
  • Up to 5 years without refills.
Versatile
  • Capable of handling the latest desktop processors from Intel® & AMD® .
  • Specially well suited for additional cooling of high-end graphics cards and chipset.
  • The included Radiator Housing MCB-120 "Radbox" can significantly improve CPU temperature compared to internal radiator installations.
Superior Value
  • The reduced number of components translates into superior value compared to anything currently available on the market: the bottom line is that you get more cooling power for less money!

Overclocking and system configuration vs. Noise level

The "O/C Meter" below is a chart summarizing the H20-220 Compact capabilities based on system configuration and intended usage

Swiftech O/C Meter

Swiftech CPU Temperature Calculator

This utility will allow you to estimate fairly precisely (± 1°C at 100 Watts) what your CPU temperature will be with the H20-220 compact cooling kit when operating under 100% load. It reports the values generated by three commonly used load utilities: Intel® TAT, BurnK6, and Orthos.

Select your CPU type below, enter the CPU clock and voltage, the ambient temperature, the fan speed, and the calculator below will return the junction temperature of the processor.

At the time of publication, this utility is only applicable for a loop with CPU cooling only.

Intel® Conroe core Fan on High (12 V)
Intel® Kentsfield core Fan on Low (7 V)
Ambient Temperature (°C)
CPU Clock (MHz)

A typical CPU-Cooling only installation is shown above
Above is an example with a single Stealth-cooled VGA card

The above example (click to enlarge) shows a system were CPU, both VGA cards (in SLI), North bridge and South bridge are liquid cooled. The motherboard is an EVGA 680i. Stealth water-blocks are used for the nVidia 8800GTX VGA, and MCW30's are used for the chipsets. Swiftech "F" fittings are used to setup the chipset water-blocks in parallel so as to minimize pressure drop.

Add-on components

When you add an element to your loop for graphics or chipset cooling for example, we recommend using our Smartcoil sleeved Norprene tubing.

You can easily add water-cooling for your graphics card(s), using either the Universal MCW60 VGA Waterblock ...
mcw60
...or using the STEALTH for nVidia's GeForce 8800 series.

You can also cool the chipset by adding either another water-block such as the Universal MCW30...
mcw30
...or by going air-cooling with the MCX159-CU.

And if you fancy even more cooling power at low noise, you can also add a second radiator, or upgrade to a massive triple 120mm (*) model!

Fittings

3/8" to 1/4" "F" fittings are useful to setup a parallel branch to the loop for cooling of low thermal load peripheral devices such as chipsets, memory, hardrives, etc..

"T" fittings are useful to setup dual VGA cards in parallel - EXAMPLE
