H20-8600 & H20-80 Liquid cooling kits Reviews

August 2004

"The Swiftech 8600 series Water Cooling Kit will transform just about any computer system into a world of cool! The basic system includes a radiator with fan, CPU waterblock, pump, tubing and more. If more cooling is required, extra waterblocks and radiator can be added. This particular kit doesn't need a reservoir because of the fill and bleed assembly, which means it will easily fit into almost any mid tower case. Watch the Video to find out more..." "For those who have been thinking about the idea of water but have been afraid to try it out, let me say that I was in the same boat for a long time. Experimenting with kits led to disappointment but the Swiftech [H20-8600] water cooling kit has changed that. It includes everything you need to have a full-fledged water cooling system and does an admirable job when it comes right down to the numbers. "June 2004

".. the only way to tell the cooling system is running is by the drive noise at bootup [...] overclocking [led to] 580 MHz out of the GPU, and [...] 2.62 GHz on the Mobile XP. I think that Swiftech have produced a very high quality water cooling kit in the H2O-8600-A. Modular and adaptable, it is well documented and simple enough to assemble [..] And the one thing I still cannot get over is the quiet [...] I can thank Swiftech for giving me performance and peace of mind."
